Maltese are the perfect combination of elegance and charm, featuring a silky white coat that grows into a long, beautifully straight flow. Despite their small size—typically under 8 lbs—they are surprisingly sturdy and adaptable.

Females generally stand 7–9 inches tall, while males range from 8–10 inches, making them an ideal size for travel and companionship.

Training your Maltese is a fun and rewarding experience, as these intelligent little companions are eager to please. At K9 Performance, we proudly work with our own Maltese, “5150,” who is off-leash trained and reliably responds to recall—even with distractions.

Maltese are a wonderful balance of playful energy and attentive listening, making them a joy to train and an exceptional companion. 🐾
